Dr. Sherman L. Young, Sr. began his ministry in June of 1978, consecrated as a bishop in November of 1998.

 

As a bishop and a church planter, he is frequently sought out to consult with and assist pastors in the establishing of Biblical order in various denominations and fellowships across the USA and in Ghana, Liberia, Europe, the Bahamas and Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines.

 

As a pastor, Bishop Young has led seven congregations in various cities in Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia, serving both older established congregations and planting several new churches. Since 1984 he has coordinated and hosted dynamic workshops and seminars on Leadership Development, Church Administration, Ministerial Training and Support Ministry Team Building.

 

The TIMOTHY Network serves pastors as a covering for ministries that are submitted to Bishop Young.  His web site features cutting-edge training and ministry resources.

As founder of Harvest International Alliance of Ministries in 1999, Bishop Young's desire to host timely workshops and seminars on Church Development and Leadership Training continues to expand.
